It doesn't just change colour. It grows.

Terry lost thirty-five thousand dollars. Sharon lost two hundred thousand.

Neither of them was foolish. Both of them trusted someone who was very good at being trusted. And in both cases nobody had the whole picture — not the bank, which saw one transfer; not the friend who heard one odd remark; not even Terry or Sharon. Nobody saw three transfers over five weeks, getting bigger.

Nobody was standing between them and it.

So there's a dot in the corner of your screen. It's green almost all the time and you forget it's there. When something's off it grows, and you tap it, and it says one plain sentence about the page you're actually looking at.

That second line isn't our opinion. It's what dozens of that company's own customers wrote, separately, in their own words. Not a rating. Not a score. The complaint that kept repeating.

It knows the first line because it knows you — your own records, held privately, that nobody else can read. That's the part a blocklist can never do. A blocklist can't know Sharon doesn't have a grandson named Kevin.

It knows the second line because somebody has to go read four hundred reviews, and it shouldn't have to be you, standing there with your card out.
